How to Use

🔄 The Endless Cycle of Fun: How to Use & Reuse

All FrayNYC™ Picky Pads are designed for endless creativity. Follow this simple 4-step cycle to reset your sensory toy again and again.

1️⃣ PICK (The Satisfying Part)

Use the included picking tool to gently pull the filler pieces and charms out of the pad.
Dig for hidden treasures, enjoy the tactile resistance, and go at your own pace. Whether you pick fast or slow, follow what feels most satisfying to your hands.

2️⃣ MELT (The Reset)

Collect all the picked pieces and scraps into the provided silicone melting bowl.

  • Microwave: Heat for about 10–15 seconds.
  • Check: If not fully melted, heat in extra 5-second bursts.

⚠️ Safety Note: The liquid and bowl will be warm. Please handle with care (adult supervision recommended for children).

3️⃣ POUR (The Creativity)

Carefully pour the melted liquid back into your silicone mold.

  • Customize: This is your chance to rearrange the charms!
  • Design: Place your favorite charms face down in the mold first, then pour, or add them while the liquid is settling.

4️⃣ CHILL (The Wait)

Place the filled mold in the fridge for about 15 minutes to set the shape.

Once it's cool and solid, pop it out of the mold. Your brand-new picky pad is ready for another round of sensory fun!

♻️ Reusable 30+ Times

Sustainability meets satisfaction. Each FrayNYC™ kit is designed to be remelted and reset over 30 times, making it a long-lasting, eco-friendly fidget tool.

✨ Perfect Moments for Sensory Play

Our community loves using their picky pads to stay focused and calm during:

  • 🧠 Focus Time: During study sessions or work calls.
  • 📺 Relaxation: While watching TV or listening to podcasts.
  • ✈️ Travel: On flights, trains, or in waiting rooms.
  • 🌙 Unwinding: A screen-free activity before bed.
  • Restless Moments: Whenever you need to keep your hands busy.

🎨 Make It Yours

No two refills are the same! Mix different charm sets, change the layout, or reset it halfway through. Every refill feels a little different — and that’s part of the creative magic.
